A table right next to the harbour and ferries. Plenty of places around 3.30. Good choices on the menu and a happy hour too, yay! Wechad burgers and... fish and chips. Good choice of beer and wines too. Staff are great, happy, cheerful and attentive. Paid about au35 pp.read more

Service was second to none, the wait staff were attentive without being to imposing. We had the chilled seafood platter, it was beautiful and fresh,... we had the quay cocktail which was yummy 😋. All in all I would recommend for dinner.read more

Very busy during VIVID but friendly service, quick fish & chips was indeed quick, a generous serving size and excellent quality - and I've also had a... very good experience here previously so consistency is impressive!Adding this review after another visit (30 March 2024) because again 5 stars all round. Despite a very busy Easter Saturday crowd we were efficiently allocated a table for two in the adjacent dining room and enjoyed an excellent meal served surprisngly swiftly, including items not on the 'fast track' sub-menu. The baked salmon was fabulous whilst the batered fish and chips a little on the greasy side - the paper mat could be more absorbent would be my suggestion for improvement but we always come back to Searock Grill for a good value, good atmosphere, good food experience before ashow at the Opera House and during VIVID - very demanding occasions and we havenever been let down, which is why I've updated this review after our third visit in two years!read more

Our last night in Sydney, lovely dinner before the opera. The restaurant is on the waterfront, lots of activity. Served by a WONDERFUL server, Ali.... My salmon was prepared exactly how I requested: (cooked properly and seared) and my husband’s burger was perfect. Nice wine list, also. But honestly, the best part was Ali’s outstanding service. It was a bust time and was amazing.read more

We decided to stop off at Searock Grill for lunch. We were in Circular Quey at lunch time and noticed the restaurant. We were greeted immediately and... seated at a table ourltside. We were provided with menus and offered water. After 5 to 10 mins the waitress came and offered to take a drinks order. We were ready to place our order and ordered immediately. The only constructive feedback I can give is that before new staff member is allowed to pull a beer from the tap unsupervised, they should be able to confidently pull the beer. The staff member I observed held the glass vertically and needed to top the glass up several times.read more
